Center for Juvenile Justice Training and Research. As always, we strive to provide a wide range of top
notch staff development opportunities for you and your staff.
We hope that you find our web-based registration system to be convenient and user-friendly. Please click
on any of the tabs at the top of the page to view specific training program information.
Supervisors, Training Coordinators or new officers may wish to review the Core Curriculum Information
by clicking the tab above for suggested core curriculum training that is considered essential during
an officer’s first 24-30 months on the job. Topics within this season’s schedule that are designed for
other specific audiences such as Chiefs, Supervisors, Training Coordinators and Support Staff are also
highlighted.
Participants are responsible for making their own lodging arrangements. For your staff's convenience,
a full listing of each of the training sites' rates, telephone numbers and special restrictions is included
on the Locations tab above.
Thank you for you interest and support of the Center's Training Program and we look forward to meeting
your staff development needs.
The Center for Juvenile Justice Training and Research is an approved Training Institute with the Pennsylvania
Certification Board (PCB). As such, as specified in the workshop descriptions, our training may be counted
toward meeting the continuing education requirements for PCB. The credit hours are also listed in the
workshop descriptions. The NASW-PA will also grant continuing education credit for LSW, LCSW, PC and
MFTs for workshop participation.
